Pondview Park Environmental Learning Center
The plan for the Pondview Park Environmental Learning Center includes an all-ability accessible trail system consisting of six learning pods and scenic observation points. The six learning pods will feature interactive panels with seasonal displays. A forest growth learning site, pond habitat, prairie restoration programs, and a butterfly garden will enhance the outdoor learning experience. Signage for each will be accessible to visitors of all abilities and will include interpretive panels, experiential stations, and tactile displays.

The trail will incorporate innovative surfacing that is designed for special ease and safety while still maintaining the look and feel of walking in the forest. Scenic observation points and intermittent seating with shade will be featured along the trails.
