S.H.O.W. Tiffin
S.H.O.W. Tiffin will increase accessibility in five existing recreation areas in Tiffin and Seneca County.
The projects include:
Schelkelhoff Nature Preserve
- Construction of a half-mile-long accessible trail
- Construction of a trail extension to an accessible deck along the Sandusky River
- Construction of an accessible deck along the river shoreline
- Construction of a small shelter within the deep woods
Hedges-Boyer Park
- Addition of an accessible bridge across Rock Creek
- Extension of a trail and the construction of an accessible boardwalk through the natural wetlands
- Construction of two accessible decks with resting benches
Opportunity Park
- Construction of an oval exercise track
- Construction of accessible paths to playground and nature trail
- Construction of an accessible nature trail that includes a raised sensory garden
Willow Creek Park
- Creation of a new park that includes an accessible boardwalk and observation decks
- Construction of raised gardens
- Construction of a picnic shelter
