Access Harrison County — Will work with O’Bannon Woods State Park and Harrison County parks department to implement numerous changes, including building new accessible cabins, fishing docks and trails, and. Trail additions include a sensory garden, wildlife viewing blind, and interpretative signage at key locations. The trail will provide accessibility while maintaining natural beauty through the use of two specific paving materials, Natural Pavement and Forest Walkways. The aquatic center will add four aquatic chairs and walkers of various sizes and designs. Other park additions include a pontoon boat, and two beach wheel chairs that can go off-road to access uneven terrains.

Karst Farm Playscape — A multiphase, accessible recreation area at Karst Farm Park, including a water adventure sprayground that is themed to reflect the natural landscape with water features evoking lakes, limestone quarries, waterfalls and caves. The Indy car race experience will allow everyone to experience the sounds and feel of racing. Additional plans include two accessible playgrounds, sand lot and shelter house, picnic tables and grills.

Potawatomi Park “Fun for All” — Will create an exercise path throughout the picnic area with seven exercise modules, build a universally accessible play structure, enhance the picnic experience with accessible picnic tables and grills, and create an entranceway and sensory node at the park entrance. Centrally located where the exercise paths converge, the entranceway and sensory node will include an accessible gazebo or pergola with a sound wall and interpretative maps with an audio component, designed to help those with hearing and vision impairments navigate the park site.
