| SEASPAR E.A.G.L.E.S community planting project at Forest Glen Park |

Woodridge Park District staff welcomed friends from the South East Association for Special Parks and Recreation (SEASPAR) E.A.G.L.E.S.(Enhancing Adult Growth through Lifestyle Education and Service) program to help with a community planting project this month at Forest Glen Park, 2908 Forest Glen Parkway, Woodridge. Jenny Knitter, Superintendent of Planning and Development, and Ryan Borderwick, Landscape Designer for the Woodridge Park district worked with E.A.G.L.E.S. participants to select plants at the Hinsdale Nursery on Thursday, October 16. Over 20 mums and other fall ornamentals were planted the following day by participants in the SEASPAR E.A.G.L.E.S. program in a raised garden at Forest Glen Park. Forest Glen Park was recently renovated and officially opened on Saturday, October 25. The unique park features amenities that can be enjoyed by all ages and level of abilities including accessible play equipment, a park shelter, raised sensory garden and water feature and site lighting.
